An Uncontrollable Mind
For Rutger’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, each graduate must prepare a thesis; with this, a thirty-seven-page book titled “An Uncontrollable Mind” was created. This book is designed to showcase the diagnosis of bipolar disorder as a visual & literary concept. With six letters and illustrations of different perspectives intertwined, and fourteen continuous rotations of the pages, the left-sided collages represent a manic episode, and the right side represents a depressive episode. This book & thesis project as a whole was crafted, printed with different covers, and was planned with passion & dedication for advocating for an incurable and uncontrollable disorder.
